FAQ: Behavior Modification
Question: Can aggressive dogs really be helped?
Answer: Yes. With the right training and structure, even dogs with bite histories can make meaningful, safe progress. We’ve successfully worked with all levels of aggression.
Question: Do you use balanced training methods?
Answer: Yes. Our approach blends reward-based reinforcement with humane correction and structure—always tailored to your dog’s temperament and tolerance.
Question: How long does behavior modification take?
Answer: It depends on the dog, but most behavior cases require at least 6-8 weeks of consistent training, often starting with Board & Train and followed by handler coaching.
Question: What if my dog’s behavior is getting worse?
Answer: Don’t wait. Behavior problems rarely resolve on their own. We’ll help you intervene safely and calmly before the behavior becomes a long-term habit.
Question: Can I be involved in the training?
Answer: Absolutely. Owner involvement is crucial. We teach you how to maintain structure and reinforce calm behavior long after formal training ends.
Question: What do I do after the Board and Train is over?
Answer: After Board & Train, you’ll continue building on your dog’s progress by remaining clear and consistent in your training, participating in pack walks and group sessions. These activities reinforce training, strengthen your bond, and help your dog practice skills in real-life settings.
